Lots of producers have particular choice of musical equipment, or pc program in which they have compfort in using. Some use only one while others may use a few. Well for those of you who have mastered one pc program such as Fruity Loops, Reason , Garage Band, Livelite, ect. I have some info you mite appreciate. Most people have a favorite program or piece of equipment they would like to have but can't afford. My choice would be the Timberland version of creative labs Neko. Since i dont have the 6 or 7 thousand that it goes on the market for, i have expanded the way i make beats using a combination of vst and dxi programs through a recording program. For instance i use Nuendo to host reason and fruity Loops. Just open nuendo then use Fruity loops and Reason as a vst device. This allows you to make beats the same way you would in Fruity Loops or Reason but record it all in Nuendo. This creates a different sound of music since reason is a more powerful program with a overall better sound then fruity Loops and fruity loops is more user friendly plus it supports countless vst and dxi programs. But above all Nuendo as well as pro-tools have effect plug-ins that give your production unlimted room for your muscal imagination.
